Job opportunity: 1.0 FTE Jr./Sr. High Humanities Teacher - Grassland School

Aspen View Public Schools, with a division office located in the town of Athabasca, is a rural school division providing diverse and innovative programming to students in a number of communities. The division is unique in that it is surrounded by a multitude of lakes, golf courses and trails that appeal to an active, outdoor lifestyle while still being in close proximity to larger urban centers.

Many schools within Aspen View are geographically located to allow beginning teachers to meet the requirements of the Northern Student Teacher Bursary and/or Northern Alberta Development Council bursaries

Grassland Community School is located approximately 180 km north of Edmonton and is close to beautiful lakes and campgrounds. Grassland school is a strong, vibrant community that is looking for a dynamic teacher to join our team.

The position will focus primarily on junior and senior high humanities with some CTS courses. Grassland School is home to approximately 65 students from pre-school to Grade 11 with diverse needs.
